The programs are just being blocked and pop-up messages tell me about it after the fact and the only thing I can do is click OK. The documentation says that Active Protection will ask the USER what to do about a blocked program, giving you the option to allow the access, but this is not happening. I am trying to use Robocopy to copy my backups to an external drive, but Active Protection keeps blocking the program from even copying the files.
Adding a program to the Manage Permission List apparently does not really do anything.
